As neuroscience becomes an increasingly collaborative discipline, use of a common language to describe data is essential for collaboration, open science, reproducibility, and the access of scientific data in the broader community. The NIH has also created new requirements for data sharing to accelerate scientific discovery and expedite translation of results into knowledge, products, and procedures to improve human health. This symposium will discuss challenges, solutions, and provide an overview of the tools and languages that make data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).
